The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet, sponsored by My Benefit Advisor, is an evening centered around honoring the people, businesses, and organizations that positively influenced the West Chester community during the previous year and beyond.

The 2023 Business of the Year Award, sponsored by West Chester University, will be presented to CTDI. Founded in 1975 by Don, Jerry, and Richard Parsons in the garage of their family home, CTDI is being recognized for its commitment to corporate social responsibility and long-standing history of making a positive impact in their local community through volunteerism and charitable giving.

Mac Neilon, retired small business owner, active Rotarian and long-time West Chester resident will be recognized for his tireless volunteer work in the West Chester community as the 2023 Outstanding Citizen of the Year.

The West Chester Fire Department, in recognition of their commitment to keeping our community safe, will take home the 2023 Community Service Organization Award, sponsored by Fulton Bank. The West Chester Fire Department, comprised of the First West Chester, Good Will, and Fame Fire Companies, provides Fire/Rescue services to the citizens of West Chester Borough, as well as West Goshen, East Bradford, Westtown, Birmingham, and Thornbury Townships. The main fire fighting force is comprised of over one hundred and fifty active, 100% volunteer, firefighters between the three stations. On average, the West Chester Fire Department responds to over 1,200 calls for service each year.

“We are so pleased to celebrate these very deserving honorees at the 2024 Annual Banquet,” said Katie Walker, President of Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce. “Each of our awardees has proven their commitment and service to making our community a better place.”

Sponsors and attendees of the 2024 Annual Banquet will enjoy cocktails and dinner as they celebrate the honorees. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
