Pamntray of Plenty celebrating 10th anniversary

This year marks a significant milestone for Pantry of Plenty at Sandy Hill Church, as Pantry of Plenty celebrated its 10th anniversary of serving the West Caln and surrounding Townships. Over the past decade, Pantry of Plenty has been dedicated to fighting hunger, providing food to families, individuals, and children in need.

Founded in 2014, as an outreach mission of Sandy Hill Community Church in West Caln Township, Pantry of Plenty began with a simple mission: to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. What started as a small effort to support a handful of families has grown into a vital resource for people across our Region, offering food assistance and hope to those who need it most.

Co-founder Cornelia Siedenbuehl and Glenda Troupe reflected on this journey,  “We are deeply thankful to God for blessing this work. We truly experience and see this blessing every day. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are reminded of the countless lives touched by the generosity and compassion of our community. Our work would not be possible without the support of our loyal volunteers, donors, Sandy Hill Community Church and Chester County Food Bank. Together, we have made a tangible difference in the fight against hunger, and together, we will continue to do so for many years to come.”

Pantry of Plenty at Sandy Hill Church will remain committed to its mission of ending hunger in this Region. To commemorate the 10th anniversary, Pantry of Plenty is expanding its services, reaching more Residents in need by having two distribution days per month.

Pantry of Plenty calls on all members of the community to continue their support, whether through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word about this mission. “Together, we can build a hunger-free future for our community.”
