The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) has been awarded a 2024 Top Workplaces honor by The Philadelphia Inquirer. The Top Workplaces recognition program celebrates employers whose work culture prioritizes their employees, as determined by the employees themselves.

Each year, winners of the Top Workplaces award are identified through employee feedback captured through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement partner Energage, LLC. The survey measures employee experiences through key benchmarks, from how respected employees feel to how empowered they are to execute tasks. Workplaces with higher scores typically demonstrate greater levels of employee satisfaction and lower turnover. This year marks the fourth time that the CCIU has been recognized.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized as a 2024 Top Workplace by The Philadelphia Inquirer. This achievement reflects the dedication, collaboration, and passion of our entire team at the Chester County Intermediate Unit,” said Dr. George F. Fiore, CCIU executive director. “Our commitment to fostering a supportive and innovative work environment is the foundation of our success, enabling us to serve our community and students with excellence. This recognition is a testament to the positive culture we’ve cultivated together, and I couldn’t be more proud of our staff for making CCIU such a great place to work.”

The repeated achievement as one of the Top Workplaces in the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley area underscores the CCIU’s determination to maintain a work culture that prioritizes its employees’ well-being and professional growth. The organization’s success demonstrates that by valuing its employees, the CCIU is better positioned to fulfill its mission and make a positive impact on the communities it serves.
