Downingtown Area School District (DASD) is excited to welcome Philadelphia Eagles Safety Sydney Brown for a special session on homelessness awareness on Tuesday, November 14 at 6 p.m. in the Downingtown High School West High auditorium (445 Manor Avenue, Downingtown).
Brown’s journey from homelessness to the NFL serves as a remarkable testament to his resilience and determination. During the event, he will share his story of overcoming adversity and achieving success.
Brown will engage with the audience, answer questions, and provide insights into his journey. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Brown, take photographs, and have memorabilia signed.
The free program is hosted by the DASD Department of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and is open to the public. Admission is free and photos/autographs are available for $20 per person.
