County to hold Behavioral Health Job Fair on April 14

More than 20 employers actively hiring for over 600 positions in the behavioral health field will be at a job fair in West Chester on Friday, April 14.

Tyree Lewis, Director of Quality Management for Chester County’s Department of Mental Health/Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and co-organizer of the job fair said, “All of the employers at the April 14th job fair have openings for a range of skills within the behavioral health setting. Not only is this event ideal for someone looking for a job in this field, but it is also good for those looking to make a career change who want to learn more about the rewards of working in behavioral health.”

The companies attending the job fair include Acadia Healthcare, CCRES, Devereux, Holcomb, Elwyn, First Children Services, Gaudenzia, Merakey, Penn Psychiatric Center, Warwick Family Services, and others. The event is hosted by PA CareerLink – Chester County in partnership with Chester County’s Department of Mental Health/Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (MH/IDD) and  the County’s Workforce Development Board.

The Chester County Behavioral Health job fair will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, at the Chester County Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, West Chester. The event is free.  Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.  Register at bit.ly/bhjobfair.
