Beginning May 27th and running through October 3rd, Phoenixville Borough brings back its much-anticipated open-air experience, called PXV Inside Out. Visitors and community members can join together and take part in the rich culture and diversity of the Borough.
Each week, Bridge Street will close to vehicular traffic between Starr Street and Main Street, and from Main Street to Gay Street at 2:00pm Friday afternoon. The road will re-open each Monday at 7:00am, with the exception of 4th of July and Labor Day weekends, when it will re-open on Tuesday at 7:00am. This road closure creates a safe area for pedestrians to enjoy the many eateries and eclectic shops for which Phoenixville is so well known.
The parking lot located at the corner of Main and Bridge Streets will be a hub for many activities during PXV Inside Out. The lot will host First Fridays each month, featuring live music and a plethora of vendors selling their unique, handmade wares. On Saturdays, many of the Borough’s popular events, including Blobfest and Chester County Pride Fest, will be taking place there as well, allowing visitors who may be drawn to Phoenixville for an event to explore and discover beyond the event boundaries. The Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Jaycees, will be hosting Rhythm & Brews on June 4th, July 16th, and August 20th where visitors can enjoy live music and a beer garden, and take part in a cornhole tournament. And each Sunday, health-conscious guests can join in a variety of fitness classes including yoga, cross fit, martial arts, family phys ed, and more.
