Logan named to Tower health board

Tower Health has announced that James Logan joined the Hospital’s Board of Trustees effective July 1, 2021.

Mr. Logan is currently the City Manager for the City of Coatesville. James brings with him years of experience in public administration, business development, project management, community building, fund development, and workplace training. He has held leadership positions with the Chester County Economic Development Council, New Jersey Department of Labor, African American Chamber of Commerce New Jersey, Philadelphia Workforce Investment Board, Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center, and United Way of Chester County.

“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Logan to Brandywine Hospital’s Board of Trustees,” said Brandywine Hospital CEO Claire Mooney, DNP, MBA, RN, CCRN, NEA-BC. “He brings unique and valuable public sector and community expertise to our organization.”

The Brandywine Hospital Board of Trustees consists of 10 community volunteers. In addition to Mr. Logan, the Board includes representatives from nonprofit organizations, businesses, education, real estate, and healthcare.

“On behalf of the entire Board of Trustees, we are looking forward to working with Mr. Logan,” said Arthur Hodess, MD, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chief of Cardiology at Brandywine Hospital. “I am confident that he will bring a breadth of knowledge to the table, which will benefit our patients, employees, and the community as a whole.
