The KAU Senior Softball All-Star team went undefeated in District and Section play, outscoring opponents 60 to 9, capturing both titles, and earning a spot in the Pennsylvania State Tournament.

Playing in the first round of the State Tournament in 100 degree heat, KAU 10-runned their first two opponents, including last year’s third place finisher, winning by scores of 13 to 2 and 13 to 3 after five innings.  The team went 2W, 1L in Eastern PA pool play and punched their ticket to the State semifinals where they lost to the eventual State Champions, Worthington LL.  By virtue of their 2W, 2L State tournament record, they finished in 3rd place.

This accomplishment is the farthest that a KAU Softball All-Star team has ever gone in a Fast Pitch Girls Little League International tournament.  The team was made up of a combination of All-Stars selected from the regular season Senior Team, (14-16) and the regular season junior Team, (13-14).
