EAST MARLBOROUGH — The 82 dedicated musicians and color guard of the Unionville High School Marching Band spent the last days of their summer vacation transforming themselves into a precise, professional and synchronized unit. They learned the rewards of striving as a team toward a shared goal – the performance of this year’s show “Tribal Voices.”
The production will pay homage to the voices of our tribal heritages as we have developed into our own human spirits. The show is ultimately about how the tribal energy, sounds and ideologies of our past give us the “Tribal Voices” in all of us and create a sense of community in today’s world.
Come to see the Unionville Marching Band’s exciting performance at all Unionville home and away football games. They will also compete in five Cavalcade of Bands, Inc. competitions in the fall. Mark your calendars for October 22, 2016 at 6pm, for the “March on the Brandywine” adjudicated competition at Unionville High School. It’s a festive, family friendly evening with a full slate of high school marching bands. The Unionville Marching Band also will be performing in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida in November 2016.
We hope you will join the Unionville High School Marching Band during this 2016 season to experience the wonderful music and synchronized movement of “Tribal Voices!”
