The Unionville High School girls and boys rugby teams won decisive victories on Sunday versus two larger area club programs — teams not limited just to students of a specific school as is the case with Unionville.
The girls’ team played local rival West Chester and won going away — 70-0 — based on a strong team effort across the board.
The boys traveled upstate to Kutztown for an out-of-conference game. Both the Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity squads came away with victories for UHS. Next up, the girls play at home against Conestoga at Hillendale Elementary on Sunday April 10 at 2pm and the Boys return to action on April 17 away at Bishop Shanahan.
