Letter: Morely would bring integrity back to district justice post

To The Editor,

Letters1Six years ago I supported Matthew Seavey for District Judge, however I am now supporting Nicole Morley at the May 19, 2015 Election.  We need to bring “INTREGRITY” and “TRUST” back to District Court 15-4-04 and I know Nicole Morley is the right person for that job. While getting to know Nicole I discovered her dedication to her family and our community.  Nicole brings with her 19 years of experience as an attorney. Being the only endorsed party candidate, others recognize that it is time for a change.  I have 17 years serving in law enforcement and Nicole has the knowledge, drive and passion for the law that I believe will benefit our community. Most people don’t know much about District Court, but if you ever find yourself in Magisterial District Court 15-4-04 Nicole Morley is the only person to carry out the law objectively and fairly.

I am wondering why George’s picture is in the paper coming out of Judge Seavey’s court with a defendant?

    Checkmate Karen

  3. Ben oconnor says:

Yes Karen please go further. Do you have anything more recent?

  4. Jacob says:

Still waiting for someone to explain the lack of integrity. It has been a staple in Morleys campaign. Someone please step up and explain.

    • Karen says:

Let’s just start with the article in the Daily Local in May of 2009 when Matt Seavey was a Constable and was suspended by a Common Pleas Court judge for falsifying paperwork and then trying to cover up. Should we go further??

      • jacob says:

Sounds like another misrepresentation. Refer to comment and explaination in other article. Nice try

      • Sarah says:

this was before he was elected. Did you do your due dilagence on this matter? Did you seeth outcome? It as DROPPED!! It was made up to begin with! Tell the entire story if your gonna tell one!!!

Avondale LEO29 needs to get his/her facts straight. Nicole Morley has 19 years experience as an attorney. First as an ADA putting hard criminals behind bars and then running a successful tax assessment law firm. So I think she does have the Knowledge and Experience, in fact she has more, to conduct herself properly on the bench of 15-4-04. Nicole Morley may not yet have experience as a Judge but I know she has more Law experience and court time then Mr. Seavey’s 5 years on the bench.

  6. Ben Connor says:

George, you mention, in your words “INTREGRITY” (LOL) and “TRUST” but you don’t expand on what you are talking about. Please give the people more info because right now, this is one of the oldest, dirtiest tricks in the book. Give a vague comment like that, get it in voters heads, and leave it at that. Please give facts, but be aware that you will be responsible for your comments if you falsely accuse the Judge anymore than you have.

I have questions for you though..1) did you run for judge a few years ago and get slaughtered? and if so 2) are you jealous that Judge Seavey ran in the following election and won?. Furthermore, 3) are you going house to house with Nicole telling potential voters that Judge Seavey is a Democrat, when in fact, he has been a lifelong Republican? 4) you have been called lazy by many law enforcement personnel…is that true? 5) Did you contact another local judge and ask that one of his employees remove a Re-Elect Matthew Seavey sign from his yard stating that the person should not be allowed to “take sides?” 6) When going house to house with Nicole Morley, are you or your tree trimming/constable partner telling anybody that you are more important in the Law Enforcement chain than you really are (IE are you telling them you are actual police officers or troopers?) All of these questions are rhetorical because we both know the answers.

I do not expect to hear back from you on here. You hit and ran with a BS letter that hopefully you now regret writing. Based on the fact that you didn’t even take the time to figure out how to spell Integrity, I am sure you did not think your actual letter all the way through.

    • Avondale LEO says:

Lets all just face the facts….George Morressy is a shady, untrustworthy creepy old man who is jaw dropped at a lady (Morley) who is paying him attention by egging him and his comments on about our current and far more superior DJ, Judge Seavey. Morressey and his local bum chum Chip Pussey have made a conscious effort to slander a mans reputation because of his sucess as well as the fact that Mr Pussey was terminated for poor performance at its minimum. I can tell you as a local Law Enforcement Officer that I would be terrified if these two individuals showed up to serve a warrant on me for fear of them having a heart attack, broken hip…or for them to…yes…stab me in the back (as they have proven to be so great at it). Voters of the 15-4-04 juristiction. I beg you to read GMs letter to the editor and see it at its face value…BS crying that they didnt get what want. And for Ms. Morley…shame on her for pairing herself with individuals of such little worth as GM and Pussey. She would have been much more respected by her local LEOs had she faught honorably. I urge all of you voters to make the right choice come election day and keep Seavey on the bench. He has a proven track record…why change perfect?

  7. M. Roberts says:

My question….as a constable….what benefits will you get if Ms. Morley would get elected? There seems to be an underlying story here! Don’t constables work directly with the local judges? Something up that (as stated above) you previously backed the current judge, now backing another candidate? Must be something in it for you? Lastly, who wants a former prosecutor as our local judge? I will answer that myself, the FAR RIGHT WING!!! Democrats for Seavey!!!!!

  8. Upset about this says:

Gearge who told you integrity was missing in Seavey’s court? I think you need to get your fact correct!!

  9. Ben Connor says:

If George Morrissiey is going to talk about a man’s integrity, and put it in all caps and quotation marks, he should at least know how to spell the word…

  10. Avondale LEO says:

George Morresey is too old and broken to be a wannabe cop anymore. He has a hard enough time serving as a “constable”. Just to coear things up…GM is sticking up for a buddy of his whos employment was terminated for poor work ethic among other reasons that need not be made public. GM should remain a silent professional and not voice his opinions while he is serving in a public position…he has defined himself by his unprofessionalism. Shame on him.

  11. Bev says:

I don’t know if he is a wanna be cop, however he is definitely a wanna be Judge. (Mr. Morrissey had an epic fail running for Judge at that court several years before JUDGE Seavey eventually took over). Maybe thats where Morrissey’s hostility comes from?

  12. Tom says:

Judge seavey is endorsed by the west Chester FOP as well as the State Police…this wanna be cop obviously has a bone to pick

    • Stu says:

I would take the opinion from hundreds of young State and Local police officers over a 70 year old constable…just saying

      • Pat says:

Unfortunately with unions it usually is only one voice and not the hundreds. Some of the reason states are starting to pass unfriendly union laws.

        just saying

  13. Rich says:

This is odd being posted in the Unionville paper which is not covered in this courts jurisdiction. I think the Republican party should “come clean” and tell the real truth on why they supported Matt 6 years ago, and now that he will not be their puppet, they have gone with a new candidate.

    Signed,
    Rich
    Democrat

    • Mike McGann says:

Just for the record, West Marlborough is part of the district and part of the Unionville area (we break it up by school district). So, actually, not that odd.
