Letter: Morley is best choice for district justice

To The Editor,

Letters1Often over the years when speaking with voters and asking them to vote for a particular candidate, I will hear something like this, “They may be a good person, but once they get in office…… they all go bad.” While I don’t necessarily agree with “….they ALL go bad.” I think there is something to be said for the old saying “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” I believe as voters we need to be vigilant in holding our public officials accountable. Yes, even those within our own party! When I hear a voter make this statement, my response is simple. “If that happens, I’ll be around during the next election asking you to vote for someone else!”

Well…… this time around I’m asking you to vote for someone else for Magisterial District Judge.

After speaking with both candidates at length over the phone and face-to-face, as well as various members in the community, I think it’s time for Judge Seavey to step aside. Since coming to that conclusion I have found out that an overwhelming majority of committee men and women, as well as former Seavey supporters and donors, have come to that same conclusion. As a result, I am encouraging you to join me on May 19th, in voting for Republican Party endorsed candidate Nicole Morley for Magisterial District Judge.

Hope to see you at the polls!

    Define, “high”.

Very sad that the Unionville Times allows such disgusting and degrading comments on their website. Thank goodness Nicole’s campaign is clean and takes the high road.

Everyone loves free speech until they disagree with it. Yes, things have gotten a bit heated, and keep in mind, everything here is nothing more than an opinion. And both sides have had at it…we’re letting folks have their say and express their opinions, kind of like a digital street corner.

Mike you really shouldn’t quit your night job! At best that’s what you are capable of.
You are a sad example of a committee person. Who doesn’t think of what would be best for his constitutes, you are one who says one thing and then does another.I am guessing you feel safe with your wife being employed in REP. John Lawrence’s West Grove office …PS Who wrote this letter for you?

I don’t know what various member of the community you are “speaking with” but lets be honest…you are a puppet for the higher-ups. Why don’t you be honest and admit that that’s how you were told to vote and she is who you were told to back instead of ripping a man who has been nothing but a great Judge and is supported by so many people?
