La Comunidad to hold entrepreneur workshop

LaCommunidadHispanaKENNETT SQUARE — For the second year, La Comunidad Hispana is hosting a series of workshops for Latino entrepreneurs.

“The first series of seminars was successful last year,” said Margarita Mirkil, President and Chief Executive Officer of LCH. “The workshops will give valuable information on those wanting to start a business or wanting to improve their existing venture.”

“How to Succeed as a Latino Entrepreneur,” a bilingual eight-week seminar series is being offered by the Kutztown University Latino Business Resource Center, beginning Tuesday, September 16.

The first meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. at LCH, 731 West Cypress Street, Kennett Square. Those attending will be given an overview of the course and will be able to register for the series.

The sessions will be held each Tuesday through November 18 at LCH from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The cost of the seminars is $50. Seminar topics will be business planning, marketing, financial models, bank products, insurance and legal and zoning regulations.
