Seeking support for HIV-impacted children

Camp Dreamcatcher to hold fund-raiser at Market at Liberty Place on Saturday

Screen Shot 2014-04-28 at 10.07.46 PMCamp Dreamcatcher invites the public to support its Spring Event at the Market at Liberty Place on Saturday, May 3, “so that love can live, laughter can heal and dreams can come alive.”

The annual, weeklong camp offers an annual nurturing respite for children ages 5 to 17 coping with the HIV/AIDS infection of a family member, the death of one or both parents, or their own HIV/AIDS infection. Camp Dreamcatcher has been providing therapeutic and educational programs for HIV/AIDS-impacted youth for 18 years.

The Saturday event will include beer, wine and appetizers and tours of the nonprofit’s new office. In addition, campers will share thoughts about how Camp Dreamcatcher has impacted their lives.
