The winners of the Moonlight Madness Tournament at Unionville High School, Saturday night.
EAST MARLBOROUGH — Hoop dreams came true for a handful of local basketball players, as the first annual Moonlight Madness 3-on-3 basketball tournament brought thrills and chills, Saturday night.
Youth and adult teams battled for the title in their respective age groups, along with three-point shooting contests and free throw shooting contests.
Here are the winners:
6th grade: Dream Team — Matt Cutrona, Kevin Andes, Jon Passarello and Connor Schilling.
7th Grade: Average Jo’s — Ben Townsend, Drew Lenkaitis, and Jo Millman.
8th grade: Invasion — Theron Schilling, Nate Talley and Zack Kennedy.
9th Grade: Freshman — Brady Horne, Trevor Gardiner and Matt Mainwaring.
High School: Team Kramer — Blake Hinkley Highland Jackson and Spencer Kramer.
Girls: Tootie Takes the Court — Sarah Covert, Lauren Bell, Tate Anderson and Taryn Burke.
Adult: Hips, Knees and Ankles — Duke Scott, Joe Hockenberry and Greg Grimes.
The free throw contest winner was Jordan Shasteen while Scottie Miller and Thomas Jung shared honors for the three-point shot.
