Warm up to seasonal brews at Winterfest

Kennett Square hopes to take chill out of air with beer-tasting festival

Screen Shot 2014-01-10 at 10.19.13 PMKennett Square has another premier beer-tasting event on tap:  the 2nd Annual Kennett Winterfest on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 12:30 to 4 p.m.


Presented by Historic Kennett Square and the Kennett Brewfest, the event offers an opportunity to bundle up and enjoy winter brews from at least 40 unique craft breweries. 
 Tickets are $65 ($20 for designated drivers) and include unlimited tastings and warm food from The Country Butcher. 
 Music will be provided by the Shady Groove Trio, comprised of local musicians with ties to Philadelphia that are known for their ability to get everyone moving.

Winterfest is an all-weather event that includes a heated tent to warm up if it is a brisk winter day. 
This event is held in the center of town on South Broad Street between State and Cypress Streets. 
 All attendees must be over 21, and no children or pets will be permitted. In case of a winter storm, the event will be rescheduled; tickets will not be refunded.
