You never quite know what you’re going to see at Pocopson Founders Day — above, State Rep. Steve Barrar (R-160) takes his turn milking a cow at a previous event. The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. at Pocopson Park, Sunday.

POCOPSON — Let the games begin!

This classic phrase sums up the excitement taking place this coming Sunday, Sept. 15 from Noon -4pm at Pocopson Park, as the township celebrates its annual Founders Day.

There are plenty of games and attractions for all ages – including play on the township’s highly anticipated GaGa Ball Pit. Committee Chair, Matt Read and the dedicated members of his team stopped by this week’s township Board of Supervisor’s meeting and promised an afternoon filled with plenty of music, fun, friends, family and great food!

Baily Farms will be there with some of their crowd pleasing four-legged residents. There will be hay rides to the Barnard House and a special attraction sure to please anyone with a taste for area history.

Stop by to browse unique items from local vendors and get an early start on your holiday shopping.

After the event, be sure to stick around for a game of vintage baseball from Brandywine Vintage Base Ball Club.
