Parents can register their children now for the free vaccine

Free vaccines will be available at the Coatesville Center for Community Health on August 22.

Free back to school vaccines for children will be provided by the Chester County Health Department on Thursday, August 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Coatesville Center for Community Health, located at 1001 E. Lincoln Highway.

All children must be accompanied by a parent, provide previous immunization record, and be uninsured or have state medical insurance. Aetna (no logo), Keystone Mercy-Keystone First, Health Partners, United Healthcare Community Plan for Families are eligible for free vaccine.

Please register in advance to receive vaccines by calling (610) 383-4612 or emailing kathryn@coatesvillecenter.org.

Help for families to get health insurance and food stamps will also be available by Family Benefits Program of Chester County.
