The county commissioners will hold their June 5 public meeting at 7 p.m. at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus in South Coatesville.

When the Chester County Commissioners hit the road for their third 2013 meeting outside West Chester, the location will offer attendees a look at a relatively new county facility.

On Wednesday, June 5, the commissioners will convene at 7 p.m. at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus, located at 137 Modena Road in South Coatesville. The meeting will replace the session originally scheduled the same day at 10 a.m.

In addition to discussing and approving county government business, the commissioners said they would recognize local organizations and citizens who are making contributions to Chester County.

Tours of the training facility, a 95-acre property that opened its first buildings in September, will be available to the public from 6:15 p.m. and also immediately following the meeting. Residents are encouraged to attend, but those who can’t will be able to view the videotape of the session, which will be posted on Chester County’s website, www.chesco.org.

The “on the road” meeting in the Coatesville area is the third in a series of meetings being held throughout Chester County in 2013. It follows public meetings that were held in East Vincent Township in March and in Nottingham in April.
