Jessica Lynn Shreve, 21, of West Goshen Township, is accused of making a false rape accusation to police.

Jessica Lynn Shreve, 21, of West Goshen Township, is accused of making a false rape accusation to police.

A 21-year-old West Goshen Township woman has been charged with fabricating a rape accusation, police said Friday.

West Goshen Township Police said Jessica Lynn Shreve reported on March 25 that she had been raped and sexually assaulted by three other people at the Golf Club Apartments, located in the 1100 block of West Chester Pike, police said.

Through the investigation, detectives said Shreve admitted that she falsely implicated the three other participants in criminal acts because she feared that her fiancé was going to find out that she had group sex outside of their relationship, police said. Detectives learned that the participants were all consensual adults and that the entire event was videotaped, police said.

Shreve was charged by summons with six counts of false reports to law enforcement; a preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled, police said.
