MALVERN — The Unionville High School softball team continued its winning ways, outpacing Villa Maria, 12-3 in a non-league game, Wednesday.
The Indians (7-8, 6-8 in Ches Mont play) once again combined strong pitching and timely hitting to move within one game .500 on the season. Amy Large picked up the win on the mound while adding three hits, a pair of runs scored and two RBI. Madi Ross and Kate Mims each had a double and a single. Elise Rocconi had a triple with two RBI.
Continuing a busy stretch of schedule, the Indians play their third game in as many days, hosting Sun Valley today.
