The Unionville High School girls basketball team defeated Oxford 33-32 in Ches-Mont League action, Tuesday night.
The Indians led 30-23 heading into the fourth quarter and and managed to withstand a furious rally by the Hornets, hanging on to eventually win 33-32. The win improved Unionville’s record to 5-2 in Ches-Mont American Division play and 9-6 overall. Cami Redfern lead the team in scoring with 9 points all from beyound the arc. Moira McEvoy had 6 points and sydney Hughes 4 points and three steals. Eight different Indians scored in the game.
The team hosts West Chester Rustin on Thursday at home, weather permitting.
