With an early holiday, stylish new jackets could be a good option

I have always loved Easter. It brings back fond memories of walking to church with my family wearing a pretty dress with white patent shoes, a hat (of course!) and gloves. We would go to breakfast afterwards with my grandparents and cap off the evening with a honey-glazed ham and coconut flaked bunny shaped cake (complete with jellybean eyes) at my Aunt Judy’s house.
I can vividly remember laying out my clothes the night before in anticipation. To this day, I still like to purchase a new outfit for the holiday. (It pleases my husband that I will not be swayed from this time-honored tradition, you can be sure!) However, because Easter is so early this year and Mother Nature hasn’t quite gotten her act together with spring like temperatures, I’m thinking that a pretty jacket might make a sensible choice.
My new favorite fashion website is Zara (the actual store is in Philly, but online is a breeze). I can ALWAYS find a little gem (or two). The shipping is super-fast and returns are a cinch. It took me no time flat to find these adorable pieces…
While I love ALL of them, I am partial to the melon colored option because of its subtle gathered shoulder and overall ladylike appearance. I am picturing it with a skinny khaki ankle pant, cream-colored blouse, leopard print heels and a big, chunky statement necklace. Easter perfection.
Wishing you and yours a blessed day filled with family, friends, chocolate and fashion!
Happy Easter Sunday!
