The popular, annual UHS Used Book Sale will be held Feb. 22 and 23 in the high school gymnasium.

If your New Year’s resolutions included downsizing, the Unionville High School PTO would like to assist by accepting used books, videos and CDs for its popular, annual fund-raiser: the Used Book Sale.
This year’s sale, which typically features over 80,000 donated books in 45 sorted categories, will be held Friday, Feb. 22, from 5 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday, Feb. 23, from 9 to 2:30 p.m. and then from 3 to 5 p.m. for the $8-a-bag sale. Prices range from 50 cents to $4 for some hardback books.
Proceeds from the book sale, held in the UHS gymnasium, go directly to the high school PTO’s General Fund, which supports many grant projects and enrichment activities at UHS.
Donations accepted include paperback and hardback books, audio books, and DVDs, VHS, and music CDs with their original labels. All items must be in good condition.
Unionville High School students and parents will be collecting books in selected local neighborhoods on Saturday, Jan. 26. (The snow date is Feb. 2.)
