Unionville outrun by C.B. East, 44-27

EAST MARLBOROUGH — Unionville High School’s girls basketball team could not dig out of an early hole to a talented Central Bucks East squad in the final of the Unionville Holiday Tournament, Friday night, 44-27.

Sophomore Taylor Thames had a strong game for the Indians (5-4), with six points, six rebounds and four steals, while Casey Scheuer and Adrianna Weber, both also sophomores, chipped in six points each in the losing cause; Weber’s points came on a pair of three-point shots.
