Police: Charges lodged after executing search warrant at East Goshen apartment
Days after an East Goshen man allegedly sold a stolen gun and oxycodone tablets to an informant, he was taken into custody, police said.
Sonny R. Love, 29, was taken to Chester County Prison Thursday to await a Nov. 7 preliminary hearing after failing to post $175,000 bail, court records said.
Westtown-East Goshen Police Lt. William Cahill said a confidential informant working under police supervision went to Love’s East Goshen apartment and purchased oxycodone hydrochloride tablets and a stolen .32 caliber revolver on Tuesday.
Two days later, the same informant purchased more drugs from Love, prompting the execution of a search warrant by the West Chester Regional Emergency Response Team at Love’s residence, where investigators found him, his girlfriend, infant daughter, and another male, Cahill said.
Love was arrested and charged with two counts of drug delivery, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of criminal use of a communication facility, one count of receiving stolen property and one count of possession of a firearm prohibited, police said.
