Independent movie series being offered at Kennett Flash
Historic Kennett Square and The Flash are continuing to combine efforts to offer area residents an independent film series.
On Thursday, “Moonrise Kingdom” will be featured at the Back Alley Theater of the Flash. The doors open at 7 p.m., and the movie starts at 7:30 p.m with a $5 admission. This charming film chronicles two “tween” lovers who flee their New England island town and the search that ensues. The cast includes Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Ed Norton, Frances McDormand and Jason Schwartzman.
On Nov. 15, audiences can enjoy “Intouchables,” the French film that follows the development of the unlikely friendship between a wealthy quadriplegic and a young and poor man from the ghettos hired as his live-in caregiver.
