Roadwork planned for several major area highways, including Rt. 52 and U.S. 1
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced the following road projects in the area, which may cause traffic delays Monday through Friday next week:
U.S. 1 in Kennett Township: lanes closures between Greenwood and Parkerville Roads from 7 p.m. t0 5 a.m. for paving.
Rt. 52 in Kennett Township: lane closures between U.S. 1 and Hillendale Road for roadwork from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Rt. 52 in Pennsbury Township: brief stoppages between U.S. 1 and Rt. 926 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for utility relocation and shoulder work.
Rt. 926 in Pennsbury Township: lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Haldane Drive and Crosslands Drive for paving.
Rt. 162 in East and West Bradford: lane closures between U.S. 322 and Telegraph Road from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for brush and vegetation control.
