The game was never in doubt after the second, as Kennett Legion scored three runs on two ground outs and a steal of home by Philip Matranga. Philip Matranga helped the team again in the third by laying down the perfect bunt in a suicide squeeze that scored Chris Fulton.
West Scranton Legion Post 920 got one-run boosts in each of the second, fourth, sixth, and seventh. In the second, West Scranton Legion Post 920 scored on an RBI single by Mason Marsico, bringing home James Dunning.
Kennett Legion increased its lead with four runs in the third. A clutch bases-loaded walk scored Tyler Hall to open the scoring in the frame.
